We want you to use Townaide because it will benefit you, as a user and business. We deliver a ton of accurate information from local places and aim to grow towns into communities.
Quality information attracts visitors which encourages businesses to advertise.
This proven formula is not unique to Townaide it pretty much is the underlying business method of the largest and most successful internet companies such as Google and Facebook.
So to be successful as a Townaide lister you need to select a local area you know well and saturate it with accurate and informative listings, the more quality listings you add the greater your chance of financial success!
Earnings is unique to Townaide where we pay you when a listing, which you have added, is converted to Premium. In other words you get paid when we get paid!
Earning with Townaide is all about listing as much as possible, concentrating in an area and creating the ‘goto’ area for locals and visitors to the area.
Once an area is saturated with listings, we will begin to advertise to the listed businesses on Townaide to claim their listing and take advantage of Townaide’s Premium listing functionality to be able to engage directly with existing and prospective new customers.
Townaide listings can only be claimed by the verified business owner or manager.
Simply login to the Townaide website and under the Dashboard menu item you will find the Claim listing screen where you can begin the process of claiming your business listing.
To help our listers, we have added a large number of listings to the platform. The information we added is not complete so we decided to allow users to edit them. When a user edits a listing added by Townaide, the listing will be transferred to the user.
This means if the listing goes premium, the user who the listing was transferred to will receive the payment.
We had a look at the rating system and saw there were a couple of problems with it, with ratings, your 5-star rating could be equivalent to my 3-star rating.
Maybe you just wanted a plate of food and you’re all good, 5-star rating for all, but when I give a 5-star rating I expect a red carpet entrance, valet service, oh and a plate of food of course… you see where we’re going with this?
But if you’d recommend a place to someone, that eliminates the fine print and purely means the place is worthy of your recommendation.
The explore feature is quite a neat one, if we can say so ourselves. Explore uses the center of your screen and finds a variety of places that are nearby.
This is a great feature if you’re in a town you’ve never been to before and feel like discovering new places or even in your hometown, bet you we could find a few places you didn’t even know were there…
